I do actually have a compass--forgot to add it to my list as itis in my car.
I am trying to fiugre out how to use it, so am carrying it with me (And I
am using hte FAQ so need to email about it--I am of the Mensa but dumb
school)

Off to the gym to lift weights--my pack got decidedly heavier

You might want a compass! I carry a whistle, a great noisemaker and I
usually have my cell phone especially when I'm alone. A camera is also good
since most of the boxes are in really nice places.
